Restore the Roar is the proud booster club for C.K. McClatchy High School athletics. We are a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization made up of volunteer parents, alumni, and coaches dedicated to supporting CKM teams and student-athletes.
How we support the teams:
Provide administrative services and ensure sound business and accounting practices for all of the teams consistent with IRS guidelines for a nonprofit organization.
Raise money for CKM’s athletic programs, working closely with CKM Athletic Director, to fill gaps in funding not provided by the Sacramento Unified School District.
Recognize the accomplishments of teams and student-athletes through our social media channels, website, and local media outlets.
Assist with financial and volunteer support of the teams to ensure inclusive, quality athletic programs for McClatchy student-athletes.
Restore the Roar was founded in 2007 by a group of dedicated alumni, with the initial goal of funding new megaphones for the CKM Cheer Squad.
